And Intercultural Competences course has just ended! The course’s scope is to understand culture, multiculturalism and nationalism in the framework of education and training.
During this week our trainees acquired intercultural competences, learned about legal concepts and the main regulatory issues related to migration, acquired basic skills to interact with people of different minorities and learned how to apply problem solving and conflict management techniques.
In our effort to maximise networking, disseminate our projects' results and facilitate discussions and exchange of experiences relevant to the training courses topics, we organised yet another parallel event, this time on the theme of "Intercultural education and training - Exchange of experiences on Rroma/ migrants/ refugees/ teachers' training". In this conference we presented the results of the EU funded project Roma Learning Leaders, as well as a small briefing about the projects L-PACK2, Teaching Languages for Caregivers and KAZI.
Our trainees had the chance to meet, network and exchange experiences with representatives from intercultural schools, NGO's, universities, lifelong learning centres etc.
A big thanks to our participants: Maria de Fátima, Maria Fortunata, Maria Manuela, Luis Filipe, Carolin, Ewa, Mihai, Anda, Ionela, Alina, Daniel and Maria!
