Game-based learning, 14-18/11/2016
First session for our new course “Game based learning” and we are happy that it received such good reviews!
The trainees, from Spain, Finland and Estonia, spent 5 days learning how to use games in education, from analysing their elements, to designing games and lesson plans and finally evaluating their results.
Participants got to experiment with augmented reality games, role play games, treasure hunts and traditional board games. The course also included a study visit to the Greek toys industry Desyllas Games where we had the chance to see the design process of board games.
3 trainers, Natassa, Penny and Olga cooperated for the delivery of the training, each one focusing on their subject expertise (learning planning, role play and ICT game based learning).
We want to thank Joan Ramon, Elina, Eetu and Liina for their valuable feedback and we are looking forward to receiving their news about using games in their institutions!
